Operations on the farm are powered primarily by our draft  horses, Charlie and Bob.

​They provide grass-fueled power for plowing, tilling and weeding our vegetable fields, mowing pasture, and helping haul materials around the farm.

Using the horses keeps production at a pace suitable to the health of our soil and our family as well as lessening our dependence on outside energy inputs.  Members can enjoy wagon rides with the horses during a farm visit.
